Hi, my name is Shannon Kelsey.

I’m the founder of Aging Life Care Consultants.

As an RN, BSN I have loved the variety of roles that my work has offered me. Working as an Independent Care Consultant pulls it all together!

Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to the care of the adult population. I work tirelessly to advocate for my clients. I strive to help them have the best possible quality of life.

I was born and raised in the Indianapolis area. After graduating from Brebeuf Jesuit College Preparatory and from Marian College – School of Nursing (BSN 1997). I have happily spent my career in nursing and home health care services.

Before founding Aging Life Care Consultants, LLC, I worked as a clinical supervisor, clinical instructor, department manager, nurse case manager, and director of nursing. The four years prior to founding Aging Life Care Consultants I worked as a nurse advocate and care consultant.

I’m the mother of three children and volunteer as a guardian for the Center for At-Risk Elders. I am also a member of the Estate Planning Council of Indianapolis and the Aging Life Care Association.

Dana Croner

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Indiana University (Indianapolis) in 1997. Having worked in both hospital and office settings, I have found my passion for patient care and advocacy in care management. Over the last ten years, I have had the privilege of managing the care of my own aging parents, including my father living across the country. I can truly relate to each family we serve, approaching and advocating for each client as I would my own family member. I understand the stress of navigating the healthcare system, advocating on a loved one’s behalf, and the desire to be present for all medical appointments. I enjoy volunteering in my community and church and spending time with my husband and two daughters.

I was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama. I attended Auburn University for my undergraduate studies where I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Health Science. My love for medicine and passion for helping others led me to attend Physician Assistant school at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee. There I earned a master’s degree in Medicine. Following graduate school and becoming a Physician Assistant (PA-C) I gained a wealth of experience. I practiced in the areas of Pediatrics and Emergency Room Medicine. Most recently I practiced in Anesthesia and Critical Care at the University of Chicago Hospital.

Five years ago, I relocated with my family from Chicago to Zionsville. I spent a few years solely focused on my young family, as a mother of three (one daughter and twin sons). In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and watching my children participate in a variety of sporting activities.

As my family developed and grown, I started to seek an opportunity where I could utilize my knowledge as a Physician Assistant while maintaining my work life balance. Working as a Care Consultant for Aging Life Care Consultants, LLC is a perfect fit for my medical experience and knowledge, love for the aged and disabled, and ability to work with a variety of personalities. I am thrilled to be a part of this dynamic team!
